BREATHWORK -

Calm your mind and experience tranquility with the gentle power of breath.

I took my friend's Breathwork course recently, and it changed my life. I knew I needed it, but admittedly I was nervous.  It helped me get centered in the morning when I wake up, helped me release some more profound “things,” and gave me insights into keeping my breath in line when I’m performing in high-energy situations. Oh, and it kept me centered while flying when I was bored-:)

Breathwork refers to techniques and practices involving controlled breathing patterns to improve mental, physical, and emotional well-being. It can be used for relaxation, stress relief, energy, focus, emotional processing, and even to enhance spiritual awareness. Breathwork practices vary widely, but the central idea is that consciously controlling the breath can influence your mind and body.

MINDFULNESS -

There are so many ways to interpret this word. For me, it’s about being grounded and more present. I’ve been meditating on and off for years. When I do, I notice it; when I don’t…I don’t!  Learning to breathe in our minds is crucial. Slowing the brain down helps do this!  My friend is a leading expert in this field, working with various high-performing individuals and companies. Mindfulness is paying focused, non-judgmental attention to the present moment. It involves observing your thoughts, feelings, sensations, and surroundings with an open and accepting attitude without trying to change or judge them.

The concept originates from Buddhist teachings but has been widely adopted in modern psychology and well-being practices. Mindfulness encourages you to be aware of what's happening right now rather than getting lost in past regrets or future anxieties.

NUTRITION -

What to eat, when to eat, where to eat….Everyone says it - we are what we eat!  My dear friend has been consumed by food, health, the body, and how we can be healthier for over 20 years- —just real actionable, food-fueling tips and beyond. And her books have been game-changers!

Healthy nutrition refers to consuming a balanced variety of foods that provide the essential nutrients your body needs to function optimally. It involves eating foods that support good health, help maintain a healthy weight, and reduce the risk of chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. Healthy nutrition isn't about following restrictive diets or fads but making long-term, sustainable choices that benefit your overall well-being.

FITNESS/ MOVEMENT-

My friend has been training every type of human for decades. He is a world-class athlete who owns and operates a gym. His “ MINDSET” for his goals and wellness is mind-boggling. Let him share the tips and tools to get us on the right track!

"Fitness movement" can refer to various trends, philosophies, and programs to improve physical health and performance. It encompasses everything from general fitness exercises to specific movements and techniques focusing on strength, mobility, flexibility, and overall well-being.

MUSICAL ARTIST-

This act will blow you away- INDIE ROCK with so much soul and heart- we will finish the show with some stories and songs to connect, inspire, and make us come ALIVE.

Happy New Year from Cheer Headquarters! And what better way to start the year than by cheering for yourself by igniting your wellness as we begin the year!

On January 11th at 11 AM EST, I’m hosting an all-new virtual event - an hour & a half New Year Wellness Cheerfest!  And you are INVITED!

One of the many gifts of the work I do is meeting magical people all around the world, and I have all these wonderful people in my orbit,  so I thought what better way to ignite my community to start this year than by sharing their magic and powerful knowledge to get your year rolling off to a fresh start!

What is a WELLNESS CHEERFEST? I’ll be gathering four friends who are wellness experts ( breathwork, mindfulness, nutrition, fitness) to help you kick off your year with tips, inspiration, and insights into your health and well-being.

Each surprise special guest will have a 15-20 min block to discuss their field, followed by a Q & A moderated by me.

An internationally known musical act will end the session with a few songs and magic! Yes, I like surprises…:)
